The ports of Nouadhibou are among the most prominent economic facilities in Mauritania, given their pivotal role in supporting the fisheries sector, stimulating maritime trade, and exporting minerals. This article aims to introduce the city's ports and analyze their economic activities through a study of the artisanal fishing port, the Autonomous Port of Nouadhibou-encompassing industrial fishing activities and maritime trade-and the mineral port. It also highlights the significance of these ports in promoting economic development, supporting commercial exchange, and reinforcing Nouadhibou's position as a major maritime and economic hub in Mauritania.
